Summer Concert

Hi there,
We are in desperate need of some raffle prizes for the concert on Saturday.
If you have anything that you could give, can you bring it along on Thursday at the rehearsal at KCC and give them to Eunice.
Many thanks
Eric

Well done Saturday!

Hi there,
Here is a message from Lillian regarding Saturday’s concert.
Dear Choir,
I hope you are all enjoying the beautiful weather we are having!
Thank you to each and every one of you who performed yesterday at Hedge End Methodist Church. It was a beautiful concert and though there were mistakes here and there, I enjoyed hearing you perform. It is a privilege to be a part of a choir that started in 1970 and is still going strong today.
I look forward to the next two rehearsals for us to tidy up some songs. Please make your best attempt to memorise “Africa”.
All the best,
Lillian
The reaction that I have received from the audience was that they thoroughly enjoyed the concert, but wished that a few more would have come along to support the event.
Maureen has asked me to remind the ladies that the Lacy Blue Tops are NOT colourfast so they need to be washed separately.
Well, that’s all for now, so I will see you at rehearsal on Thursday.
Bye for now.
Eric

Saturday’s Concert

Hi there,
Just a reminder that we have a concert at Hedge End Methodist Church on Saturday, at 7.00pm.
Lillian has asked that we meet at 6.15pm so that we can sort out where everyone will be seating and have a warm-up.
I enclose a copy of the programme sort that you can have your music ready in the right order.
See you either this afternoon at Avon Park for Local Vocals, or tomorrow night at rehearsal.
Bye for now.
Eric

Christmas Concert

Hi there,
Just to let you know that the Music Committee will be holding a meeting on the 21st May to discuss the music we will be singing for our Christmas Concerts, so I enclose a copy of the music that hold at the moment, so that you can have a look through and make any suggestions that the Committee will take on board, together with any other song that you think might be suitable.
If you can let me know asap so that Tony can have a chance to look at the piece ready for the meeting.
Regards
Eric
