We had a fantastic afternoon at Hedge End Village Hall for our “Summer Spectacular”.

The Choir sang some great songs from shows, “The Greatest Showman”, “La La Land”, “West Side Story’, “Disneys Lion King”to name but a few. 

We had some great solos, duets and ensembles singing some popular songs from more shows like “Phantom of the Opera”, “South Pacific”and “Wizard of Oz”, and we had a brilliant rendition from our very talented pianist Chris Allison, the theme from the film “Piano”.

Each table was themed with a Show and a prize was given for the loudest table when their show was mentioned, everyone got louder as the afternoon went on. Well done to West Side Story who won the prize.

What an afternoon of delights for the audience plus they were served with tea and cakes (and boy did we have cake). They certainly did not go home hungry or entertained.

I hope everyone who came enjoyed it as much as the New Music Makers did.
