Hi All

Thanks to the those  that have already  let me know if their  circumstances are different  from last week for attending rehearsal tonight, unfortunately there are a few that can’t make it can you please try to get on zoom please  If there any others can you let me know please. 

As you will have heard, the infection rates across the country are on the rise again.

the infections rates for our areas for the last seven days are as follows:-

Southampton – 1299 +11%

Eastleigh – 938 +25%

Portsmouth – 1071 +22%

Pre rehearsal health check

1) Do you have any Covid-19 symptoms now, or have you had any in the last 7 days? (Raised temperature, flu like symptoms, generally feeling unwell,  new persistent cough, loss of or change to your sense of taste or smell).

2) Have you been in close contact with anyone who has symptoms or tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 10days?

Yes

No

3) Has someone in your household tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 10 days?

Yes

No

4) Within the past 10 days, have you been contacted by ‘Track and Trace’ and told you should self-isolate? 

Yes 

No

5) Within the past 10 days, have you returned from abroad and told to quarantine?

SEATING AND REHEARSAL

We will be trying out  having the chairs a little closer as we will be singing 1m apart at the concert we will be putting the chairs so that when you stand you will be 1m apart.  If anyone is not happy with this just let me know and we will make sure that your seat is a bit further.

We are also aiming to start at 7.30 instead of 7.45 we are very mindful that we are losing rehearsal time and we only have three rehearsals until the RVCP. Can you all please try and make all of the rehearsals as we need to be as confident as we can before our performances.

If you are struggling with any of the songs or just to give you extra practise don’t forget you can go onto the members page on the website and access all of the pieces we are covering. 

CONCERTS

As I said on Thursday I am assuming that everyone that has attended the  Rehearsals in the Hall will be attending the Concerts as you know we are very low on numbers as some people are unable to attend so everyone is important to the overall sound of the choir.

We are also looking for volunteers to help in the morning of the Village Hall Concert  to help set up so if you can let me know if you are available we can allocate you a job.

We are also looking for Raffle Donations Please.

Gosh so many other things to tell you but that’s all for now folk!

Oh just one other thing we need a small group  who are available to sing at the URC Church on Thursday 2nd December at 1.45pm for 45 mins. If you can let me know  ASAP

Hope you are all well and fit.   Liz Kemp will not be joining us tonight as she has had a positive PCR test she is much better  and all being well will be back with us next week.  I will also not be there again tonight but will be on zoom due to Chris’s positive test.
