Hi All
We have changed things slightly to accommodate the new rulings and taking choir members response to the recent emails sent out to you. If anyone is not happy with any of the new plans then please feel free to contact me or a committee member and we will do our best to accommodate your concerns. For example if you would like to sit further apart then we can adjust the seating plan to be able to make you feel more comfortable.
I will no longer be sending this information out each week so please keep a copy or make it accessible for you to refer to if necessary. It will also be available to view on the website.
We are doing our best to make everyone have a pleasant experience at choir and to feel as safe as we can.
These new directions will be added to the New Music Makers Risk Assessment.
1. It should be the individual choir members responsibility to NOT attend choir if they have any illness that they think they could pass on to others, including colds, throat infections, viruses etc. even if they have had a negative LFT test.
2. It would still be advised and encouraged that choir members take an LFT before attending a rehearsal.
3. MASKS – can be worn at the choir member discretion. As from the 27th January 2022 “The government “recommends” that people wear face coverings in enclosed or private spaces, but this will be a personal judgement”.
4. VENTILATION – windows at the side and the back of the Hall will be opened and a watch will be kept on the monitor should there need to be any further action.
5. SEATING – The seats will be placed a meter apart from the centre of the chair.
6. These recommendations will be reviewed regularly and will be changed if necessary should things change with the government regulations.
7. If you have tested positive for Covid could you let the Committee know and follow all of the current restrictions and advise from the Government track and trace.
