Hi All
Apologies for not sending my email yesterday I was actually busy doing things and ran out of time. But I wasn’t too worried as I had already sent Lillians email out about what we are going to sing tonigh t.
So as you see we have Birthdays. It is Chris Allison’s tomorrow 12th, Sharon Thomas’s 14th, and Jill Parkinson’s on the 17th just like busses you wait for ages and then three come along at the same time. I used an app to create Chris’s photograph (and yes I still do have him and Zac as my screen saver), as that took me nearly all day to create I apologies to Sharon an Jill for not getting the same treatment.
Chris joined the choir in 2015 as our accompanist when Michael Goldthrope was MD. A man that can multitask by playing the drum 🪘 and piano 🎹 at the same time conduct and play when we go out with the Concert Party, sing and play four different parts when he takes us for sectionals, a rare talent in men being ale to multitask 😂. Did I just write that out lo ud.
Have a great Day with your lovely family, sorry there is not a picture of Mark.
Sharon has her birthday on Valentines Day. I wonder if she gets two lots of pressies from Martyn. Sharon is a contralto and also our Treasurer and she has been in the choir quite a while and also has been the treasurer for what she must seem is forever. She does a great job and keeps an eye on us so we don’t spend too much.
I have lots of photographs of Sharon Smiling I hope you have a smiley birthday.
Jill has also been in the choir for a long time she is also a contralto. The photograph was taken last year at the Golden Dinner with her husband Bob. I hope you are keeping well Jill.
Have a lovely day Jill.
LOST IN PANTOLAND
It was fun on Saturday night watching the Panto with the Zoom call at the same time. We had several past members join us, Rita and Andy, Eric Newman (briefly), Frank Parker and Jason Brown, it was lovely to have a chat with them all. I also have heard from some of the past members saying that they were going to watch it. The lad that ran with the lamp, Jonathan Mayers is 24 and doing a postgrad at Royal Academy and his sister Bethany is married and is in her last year at the Royal Welsh Conservatoire studying Trumpet. I also heard from Daniel Clouting who was Mons Grandson and he was looking forward to see himself all those years ago. I am guessing that some of you have watched it as well as we have had 78 views so far. I hope you enjoyed it.
