Hi All
Isn’t it nice to see some Sunshine 🌞 although not sure how long it is going to last, but lets make the most of it. Well that’s another month nearly over, April Fools Day tomorrow and Easter 🐣🐇 weekend. Hope you have all got some nice things planned. It is lovely to at least now be able to meet up with people but we still have to be careful and stick to the rules. Not that we need reminding but the more we do to help this thing end the sooner we can all get back together again and sing 🎶🎶.
So not three buses this week but two. Auntie Eileen Eyers birthday is on Saturday 3rd April and Margaret Ballard on Tuesday 6th April. I looked back on last years email at the photographs so have been trying to find some different ones. Not easy when some people seem to be very camera shy. So if you have a birthday coming up and would like to send me something about yourself and a photograph that would be lovely. So as I have only just mentioned this I will have to go back to my resources.
Auntie Eileen? Why do I call Eileen Auntie Eileen a very good question. Well being a simple woman I get mixed up with Irene, Eileen Elaine and any other combination that I can get confused with and I kept calling Eileen anything but Eileen so to remind me, my godmothers name was Eileen and so I started to call her Auntie Eileen so that I could try and get the name correct. I bet you are all glad you know that! I first met Eileen at a musical event at Wildern school, I am not sure how long ago, and we started chatting. She had the most amazing long plait, anyway I must have talked enough and she came along to join the New Music Makers. I am pretty sure that the plait had gone by then and she had gone to the very short style that she wears now but not in such amazing colours.
Have a lovely day with your lovely husband Dave.
Margaret Ballard joined the choir in February 2016 and is a Contralto. Apart from playing the maracas like a mad woman she is a member of the Committee. I don’t have many pictures of Margaret as she is one of the ones who likes to hide.
Seems I have more of Margaret than I thought something like 88 photos I wonder what we were singing in the pink? Answers on a postcard! Looks fun it was at the Berry in 2016. Have a lovely day Margaret.
