Hi All
The weather looks good for tomorrow evening and looks like we may have a bit of sun for 7.00pm. It did get chilly last week when the sun went down so I should bring something warm to put on for later especially as we are finishing a bit later. All of the same rules apply as last week. Can you please remember to wear your masks when not singing and stay 2 meters apart at all times. If we can reduce the calling out that would be good, please raise your hand if you need attention. We are going to change the layout this week and go the other way so more people in the rows and less of them. The men will be at the back so it will be useful to have them in first please. All details below.
It is Mike Ward’s birthday on Sunday 13th and we will be able to sing Happy Birthday to him on Thursday and include Gen Marsh as we didn’t have choir last week when it was her birthday. The photograph is of Mike and Lesley playing that very frustrating frog game at our social games night which hopefully we can repeat someday soon. Hope you have a good day Mike.

Silly frog game.

Expected behaviours
To minimise spread by breathing:
1) TWO metre social distancing AT ALL TIMES, this means before, during and after musical activity, during breaks, in bathroom queue
2) mandatory wearing of face-coverings during set up and pack down; release for singing
3) do not shout. Raise your hand if you need to be heard
4) no hugging, hand-shaking, lingering to chat in the rehearsal area
5) sneeze/cough into tissue/crook of arm
To minimise spread by touch:
1) sanitise hands on arrival, departure and after bathroom visit
2) avoid touching shared surfaces as much as possible
3) bring your own sheet music/ipad/pencil etc. Do not share equipment
4) bring the minimum of personal belongings to your allocated seat and keep them under your chair
5) bring your own refreshments
6) bring your own chair (a few chairs are available and will be sanitised before use if you let us know you need one)
7) thanks for the thought but please do not help carry/set up/pack down equipment other than your own
****To keep everyone safe the Committee will monitor social distancing, the use of masks and hand sanitiser throughout the rehearsal. Two warnings will be given to each member – after a second warning, you may be asked to leave. If you do not comply, you will jeopardise our ability to hold future sessions face to face ***
Plan for someone falling ill at rehearsal
- The person will be sent home immediately
- If needed, we will call transport for them, seat them in an area away from the rest of the choir, wearing a face covering and disposable gloves, until transport arrives
- The person with symptoms must take a test asap and communicate the result to the Chairman immediately
- The rehearsal will be terminated immediately and everyone sent home, asking them to self-isolate until the test result is received
- The rehearsal space will be cleaned thoroughly
We will be zooming the meeting as we did last week
